Rite-Way uses a top-of-the-line extendable deep foundation system called a helical pier, also known as a helical anchor.
Helical piers are a manufactured steel foundation system that consists of a central shaft with one or more helix-shaped load bearing plates and a bracket that can be attached to a structure. We use helical piers to achieve enhanced load bearing competency for your foundation.
Helical piers are used by the construction and engineering community for both tension and compression load applications worldwide. In fact, the International Code Council Evaluation Service approved the Acceptance Criteria for Helical Foundation Systems and Devices (AC358) in 2007. Plus, helical piers were included in the 2009 International Building Code.
Over the years, we’ve found that helical design solutions based on your structure’s specific needs are the best means of getting the exact results our customers need.
